My first experience with yoga was a high school gym class. Not quite a dancer and not quite an athlete, yoga provided a fulfilling middle ground of mindful movement, physical exercise and mental clarity. It didn’t take long for it’s therapeutic superpowers to transform they way I felt about the body, mind and relationship between the two.

After exploring Iyengar, Vinyasa, Baptiste and Kundalini style classes, I completed my NESTA Sport Yoga certification in San Diego, CA in 2011. I discovered the beauty and accessibility of geometric alignment, modernized Taoist philosophy and imaginative sequencing at Sky Ting Yoga in New York City and received my RYT-200 certification from Sky Ting in 2016.

I am interested in sharing how yoga is a tool to navigate life most efficiently. When we know how to use our bodies and minds well, we can mediate polarities, make the esoteric practical and give ourselves options…and all those options make us powerful! All it takes is willingness, imagination and the curiosity to learn how.
